Ruthy Johnson is an artist and small business owner nestled in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, Minnesota. For more than two decades, she has been following her creative path, spending the last six years sharing her work professionally. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration focused on marketing and entrepreneurship, she blends artistic passion with an entrepreneurial spirit. Along the way, she continued to nurture her creativity through art courses, refining her techniques and expanding her artistic voice.

Specializing in mixed media, landscapes, and seascapes on canvas, Ruthy creates pieces that capture the quiet magic of the natural world. Inspired by photography, woodland walks, winding shorelines, and the gentle chorus of birdsong, rustling leaves, and lakeshore waves, her paintings invite viewers to pause, wander, and reconnect with nature's beauty. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted to bring a sense of wonder, serenity, and a touch of whimsy into the spaces they call home.

Ruthy is a wife and proud mom to four children, ages 15, 14, 7, and 4. Her husband serves their community as a career fire captain, and together they've built a life filled with love and plenty of laughter. When she isn't in her studio creating, you'll likely find her making memories with her family, tackling a new DIY home project, or adding a creative touch to every corner of her home.
